Laboratory Services

As the largest lab in East Central Michigan, the Clinical Laboratory at Covenant HealthCare performs over 650 different types of tests, delivering more than two million diagnostic results annually to area physicians. Our lab leverages state-of-the-art technology integrated with medical information systems to provide fast, high-quality test results.

Our mission is to deliver the highest level of laboratory quality, service, and patient care. Regardless of the type of laboratory testing you require, Covenant HealthCare offers convenient locations throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region. You can access routine blood and urine testing, as well as other essential diagnostic tests, at any of our laboratory locations. Scheduling Your Lab Appointment

Walk-ins continue to be welcome, but we've implemented a new scheduling feature for laboratory services to help reduce in-office wait times. Your time is important and we want to help you get your medical testing done quickly and efficiently so you can get on with your day. If you're looking for an appointment as soon as possible, view all lab locations to see the next available appointment times. You can schedule to save your spot. Scheduled appointments will take priority over walk-ins.

Scheduling in Advance

If you would like to schedule your laboratory service in the coming weeks or months you can schedule within your MyChart account.

• Login to your account on MyChart
• Select "Schedule an Appointment"
• Select "Lab" appointment
• Select the date, time, and lab location you'd like to visit from the available list.
  *Please note that some time-sensitive testing may only be administered at the Irving location.
• You will receive confirmation of your laboratory appointment.
  If you need to cancel your time you can request a cancellation in MyChart when you view your upcoming appointments or by calling central scheduling.
